The tool that finally unlocked my thumbs.

I write a lot. Medium posts, emails, Slack messages, the odd tweet. And for years, I thought the answer was typing faster. I tried mechanical keyboards, touch typing drills, even those weird split-hand techniques. None of it moved the needle much.
Then I stopped trying to type faster. And my writing output basically doubled.
Here's what happened.
The maths is brutal
Most people type at around 50 words per minute. Most people speak at around 150. That's a 3x gap, and it's been there for decades. We just accepted it.
I used to think speaking into my phone was for lazy people or whilst driving. Then I tried Wispr Flow.
One button. Done.
Wispr Flow is a button you press, you speak, and it types. Sounds simple. The magic is in the accuracy — it's genuinely better than Google's built-in voice typing, and it works across everywhere. Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, Notes, Google Docs. Anywhere you type, you can speak.
The speed difference is hard to overstate. A WhatsApp message that used to take me 2 minutes to type now takes 30 seconds. A Medium post that took an hour now takes 35 minutes. Over a week? That's hours of my life back.
The real unlock
But the biggest win wasn't the time. It was the friction. When sending a quick message feels effortless, you do it more. When drafting a thought feels easy, you draft more. My output didn't just get faster — it got more.
If your work involves writing or texting, this is the cheat code you didn't realise you needed until you can't imagine working without it.
(And yes, this entire post was written with it.)
